Our home help support is available for regular weekly/fortnightly visits. Whether you're convalescing from surgery, have mobility issues, are new parents or have busy schedules. Infact anybody that needs a helping hand around the home should give us a call and discuss how we can help, our availability and hourly rates.
As your requirements may differ from week to week just let us know at each appointment as we work with you, flexibility is important.
Our pricing system is simplified, there's no tie in direct debits or agency fees, just an hourly rate. All we ask is 24hours notice if you need to postpone for any reason.
The menu below will give you an idea of what we offer from specific jobs to a bit of everything, you decide when we arrive.
Although your needs may vary from week to week, we offer essential household/bathroom cleans, aswell as sorting out the bins, watering the plants, changing the bed linen, washing up, laundry, ironing and many other domestic tasks. We even provide the cleaning products so that's something less to think about. Obviously let us know if you prefer us to use your own products.
Please note we do not provide commercial cleans, deep cleans, oven or carpet cleans. There are many companies available who do this, so we just want to focus on what we offer and do that well!
Running local Errands
Collecting prescriptions, parcel posting/collecting and any other local errands that may arise.
Eating well is essential and we can sometimes lose our appetite or we're just too busy at times to prepare in advance. If you're a busy family or you may just need a hand with prepping veg etc.... We can help with light lunches to more hearty traditional cooked meals and are certified with Level 2 Food Hygiene.
We can do your weekly shop for you or assist with your online grocery delivery. Maybe you'd like a local click and collect order we can arrange to pick that up for you.
We're available if you just want a cuppa and a chat as talking and connecting is so important for mental wellbeing. Maybe you'd like to revisit a hobby or just get out for some fresh air, we're happy to assist.
Chaperone Service (coming soon)
If you need someone to accompany you/drop off to local appointments or visiting friends etc... this option will be available in the coming months. We will update our website as soon as we're offering this service.
We can help with your pets needs, vet appointments and drop off/pick up at the local groomers. As long as we know in advance, we can hopefully accommodate you. We do not provide a dog walking service as a stand alone option purely as there are lots of other professionals providing this services, but this can be an add on/ad hoc when providing you with other support in your home.
Anything from assisting you with contacting tradespeople, having a good sort out for charity donations, helping you organise the spare room. Whatever your needs, we will try and simplify any situation you've been either putting off or just need support with.
Whatever your family needs, from new-parent support to an extra pair of hands in a busy family household, we're here to help. Having worked in Primary Education I can offer adhoc reading/homework support in addition to other help around the home. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
1 hour visits
This option could work well if you're a busy family - maybe you just need an extra pair of hands to complete a few chores within the hour. Possibly you're working long hours or recovering from an illness/operation and would benefit from a few shorter visits a week/fortnight.
Please note we do not provide personal care or administer medication.
Just a quick note about myself - I have two grown up daughters and previously lived and worked in Monmouth for many years, so not only know the area well but have a real connection.
I'm a real animal lover, especially cats and dogs - in fact when my girls were young, we had the usual fish, gerbils and hamsters so now with only a cat and dog life seems a lot calmer.
After a career in Insurance then Primary Education, I had the opportunity to assist my daughter part time during the startup of her cleaning business. (Compelling Cleans)
It was only to be short term, but 3 years on I was still involved, and clients were often asking me for home help additions to their usual cleans. This highlighted there was a definite need, and as a result Simplify Home Help was created and launching this September 2022.
Currently, I shall be running the business independently, but hope to expand offering the same high level of service. If you'd like to join us in the near future and you have previous experience, please forward your cv and I'll be in touch when vacancies arise.
